DAY 4 – AN AMAZING DAY, SUNSHINE AND BLUE SKY
Today has
been the warmest day so far... perfect for an outing at Werribee Zoo. We
strolled through the Pula African Village spotting, hippos, cheetahs, gorillas
and many other animals. The lion cubs were very playful and we were treated to
a live video feed of a lioness with her new-born cubs. The meerkat enclosure
was a favourite, especially seeing two cute little ones.
The Safari
Tour was certainly the highlight. We boarded the special safari bus and saw
rhinos, hippos, giraffes, zebras and antelopes – to name a few – roaming the
stunning open Savannah.

Next stop…the street art tour began at Hosier Lane; Melbourne is famous for its arcades and lane-ways. There are many hidden art works tucked around street corners with the nature of the street art forever changing.
Melbournians took advantage of a beautiful warm day and there were lots
of people at St Kilda beach. After our bus ride along the busy esplanade, the
troops were keen for the Luna Park experience. Excitement was off the charts as
we enjoyed an action-packed adventure with rides.
It was
hard to distinguish who enjoyed themselves the most, the kids or Miss Baker and
Mr Franich. The Luna Park Circus of Screams was very popular; although, Miss
Baker was so scared of the clowns she exited, shaking like a leaf. Rumour has
it that Mr Franich, Dylan, Sophie and Josh demanded brave Miss Baker lead the
way.
What a
fabulous day!
